A recent article in HealthTimes Magazine - ‘Improving workplace culture in maternity health care’ featured tips and advice by our Founder, Kateena Mills, and Culture Consultant Trish Everett on how to navigate a toxic workplace.
Among other tips, both consultants suggested reflecting on how the individual could improve the situation and focus on the facts rather than creating a narrative that perpetuates the toxicity. They also suggested that creating some space between home and work, is an important self-care practice to introduce into your work day (e.g., mindfulness or regular exercise) to support your mental and physical health.
