PUBLISHED - OFFICE GARDEN. INCORPORATING PLANTS AND FLOWERS INTO YOUR WORKSPACE

Earlier this year Club Sandwich Founder, Kateena, professed her love for indoor plants, and shared some reasons why you might want to add some to your workplaces; backed up by the big wigs at NASA!

Kateena is continuing to spread the word about the power of plants and was recently quoted in two articles about integrating plants into your office. Here’s a sneak peek of the article for Todich Floral Design in the UK:

Nothing works better to breath new life and brighten up office spaces than fresh seasonal flowers. As Kateena Mills, Founder and People and Culture Consultant at Club Sandwich Consulting, advises: “Plants look amazing and give an office space a visual clue and feeling of life and growth! However, they also clean the air of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) which reduces negativity and stress. It can also reduce sick leave associated with respiratory complaints and headaches.”

And an excerpt about incorporating caring for plants in the office as a cultural activity for Flowers 24 Hours:

When it comes to caring for your new office plants, Kateena Mills, Founder and People and Culture Consultant at Club Sandwich Consulting, adds: “There are many plant services that will maintain office plants, but you could also look at setting up a roster or have your staff ‘adopt-a-plant’ to engage them in the care.

“Watering and tending to plants can be a good practice of mindfulness which can mix up someone’s week and clear their mind to allow for renewed focus when they get back to work!”
